With May coming and leaks growing, the Pixel 8a’s release is close. The most recent leak comes in the shape of retail box images, which reveal a sleek black color scheme and 27W charging (charger available separately).
The phone featured on the box matches the high-quality renderings that appeared in October, making it the first in a series that recently showed the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro. Additionally, the design corresponds to live images of the 8a taken in September.
Expect a twin camera system on the rear and a somewhat toned-down Tensor G3 processor powering the Pixel 8a, called G6GPR. Stay tuned for more as the planned May release date approaches.
