According to media sources, Manchester United are looking to sign striker Benzema.
According to Fichajes, United is ready to make a loan bid for Benzema to Al Ittihad. The Red Devils want to recruit a center-forward to help with their goal-scoring problems, since Rasmus Hojlund has been disappointing.
“Benzema is a shock target for United,” according to the Manchester Evening News. The French striker scored 12 goals in 20 appearances for Al Ittihad, but appeared to struggle in Saudi Arabia.
United have a good possibility of pursuing Benzema at this moment. The Old Trafford squad need players on loan owing to a shortage of finances for signings. According to Goal, Benzema is bored with life in the Middle East.
Benzema is causing problems for the administration of the Saudi Pro League’s reigning Champions. Marca stated that Al Ittihad’s head coach, Gallardo, opted to travel the entire squad to Abu Dhabi (UAE) for training without Benzema.
The Argentine tactician was unable to reach the 2022 Ballon d’Or winner. Benzema has not attended any Al Ittihad training sessions since the beginning of the year. Nobody at Al Ittihad knows where the former Real Madrid player is.
Benzema is believed to be in line with United’s objectives. Coach Ten Hag stated, “We always consider short-term options.” Marcel Sabitzer and Wout Weghorst both played well last season, adding to the team’s triumph.
In reality, the Red Devils previously failed to sign Benzema. Sir Alex Ferguson stated in 2009 that Manchester United attempted to sign the striker to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. However, Real Madrid was speedier.
Benzema’s presence at Old Trafford may come as no surprise given United’s recent acquisitions of Raphael Varane and Casemiro.
